Mangalsutra!!! Traditionally known as "MATAR MALA" in Uttarakhand is a cumpulsory need of every married woman. Because of 24karat gold the beads are very soft. Therefore these beads are filled with lead to give them strength. A standard mangalsutra includes one pendant and eight beads.
